The member panel provides the CEO with valuable input to the Policies and Strategies Committee ensuring a voice for members who are prepared to contribute their time, knowledge and views.

The AOPA Member Panel:

Is made up of volunteers who can bring their knowledge and experience to the AOPA Policy and Strategy Committee.

It is kept to a manageable number of members from all regions of the UK.

The CEO holds virtual meetings at least 4 times a year with additional meetings if there is a need for input.

As the panel matures and if members are willing the role could be extended to organising regional AOPA focus and social media groups.

Membership of the panel is managed by the CEO who will consider expressions of interest from members.

AOPA Policy and Strategy Panel Register of Interest

This form is for you to register your interest in joining a panel of members to help develop and steer AOPA policy and strategy. The panel will work directly with the CEO of AOPA UK and cover all areas of interest to General Aviation, current and future. Panel members will bring a wider membership view and focus to the work that AOPA does, or should do, for GA, locally, nationally and internationally.

Meetings involving the panel can be attended online, allowing participation from anywhere.
